New NV5600 6th countershaft gear. This is the larger of the two big press-on gears on the countershaft assembly. Anytime the 6th main shaft gear breaks, you MUST replace the countershaft gear as well. The 6th overdrive gear is the single most heavily used gearset in the NV5600 and the gears are frequently fatigued. Don’t gamble with an old gear, replace your 6th countershaft gear during your rebuild for long term reliability.
