Description
This is a comprehensive rebuild kit for your Dodge NV4500 as seen on the Long Range Gear build videos. This kit includes not only the consumable items that are commonly replaced, but also preventative items that LRG always replaces for peace of mind down the road- we don’t want something breaking on our fresh rebuilds right? Long Range Gear’s philosophy is always to get ahead of the problems before they arise, hence the 5th gear and 3rd gear additions to this base kit. This kit does NOT include every component in the transmission, as several hard parts are commonly reused, but it does include the following:
- new full spline main shaft,
- new 5th gear,
- new 5th gear nut kit,
- cast iron tail housing,
- small parts kit,
- input clutch cone,
- 5th gear clutch cone,
- synchronized reverse clutch cone,
- new 3rd gear,
- keys and springs,
- carbon lined Synchrotech 1-2 synchronizers and brass 3/4/5/R synchronizers.
