If you have your G56 out of the truck, LRG highly recommends replacement of your flimsy, failure prone stock input retainer. The factory unit is made of thin stamped steel and is the root cause of many G56 clutch-related problems. Our aftermarket solution is a very sturdy machined cast iron piece that will last a very long time.
You may notice that other places sell these replacements only suitable for single disc clutches- ours will come machined and supplied with new hardware for a flush mount, suitable for dual and triple disc clutches. This is a minor investment that could save you many thousands in the long run.
